Our Story

My name is Renato Polidori

I am an Italian chef born and raised in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Cooking has been my lifelong passion.

At age of 14, I enrolled in the Culinary School Program at Villa Santa Maria in Italy. During my summer breaks, I worked in different restaurants all over Italy and Northern Europe.

Two years after my graduation I decided to move to Miami, worked and experienced all that is wonderful here in South Florida. Then after a few years, in 2011, and with 2 other partners, I opened up my own Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale.

After 10 amazing years,

I decided it was time to move on. We moved to Weston a few years back, and now am embarking on this new project, Careni’s Kitchen. I am personally a part of every step of the process, from the sourcing and selection of ingredients, and meal preparation. It is my desire to bring homemade delicious food to your family table.
